FIRST SKI DAY

Today we headed up to Snow Basin for Ava's first ski lesson. Grandpa Spencer, Grandma Sherry, Sam SR and Jr also were able to come along. This pic is of Ava and her ski instructor Aimee, who also happens to have been my 9th grade geography teacher. Yeh, it's a small world. Anyway, I was somewhat worried to start Ava so young, but she actually did quite well. She had a blast, especially when she could beat her instructor in a ski race or pelt her with a snowball. I think she has a bit of her dad's competative spirit in her. I am so looking forward to taking her again. I'ts great when you can do the things you love along with your family. SKI ya later!
