A long way gone: memoirs of a boy soldier

This is the book I read on our little vacay. If you haven't read it, I suggest you do. It's a real eye opener about what children are forced to go through in war torn countries like Sierra Leone. Ishmael Beah tells his amazing childhood story about loosing his entire family to the war, becoming a child soldier, and going through an extensive rehabilitation before the age of 16.
